Dante grew up between two worlds: their Afro-Cuban mom in the bay area of California and his white, redneck father in St. Pete, Florida. Naturally, he developed interests in psychic readings, nutria hunting, indie plays, and snorkeling. Dante is an expert at standing in two worlds - person of color and white, new age spirituality and second amendment rights, the Gulf South and California. Because of this, Dante often finds themselves seeing the world through multiple lenses: brown and white, straight and queer, working class and wealthy. Now Dante uses these insights to write social horror about the boundaries of identity, both transgressing these borders and analyzing how they subsist.

Dante’s background in post production as an assistant editor and editor has lent him a unique eye on screenwriting and production. He is available for script notes on a sliding scale.

Dante is currently seeking a producer for horror proof of concept Hood, which won the short script category at Nashville Film Festival, 2024.

Scripts are available on request.
